Today, I’m joining the Yakezie Challenge.
Yakezie is a passionate group of personal finance bloggers, working together to promote each other and help each other succeed, all with the common goal of helping their readers with personal finance, allowing them to live better lives. From what I can tell, this group seems to be all about networking and helping each other’s blogs become the best they can be.
I learned of the group a few weeks ago while reading blogs of some of the Yakezie Members. Members of this network seem to be a big group of friends who know and help each other. I could certainly use the help of the pros in the personal finance blog niche and hope to become a member after the challenge.
To become a Yakezie member, I’ll need to complete the Yakezie Challenge. The challenge Yakezie’s way of making sure their members are committed to making their blog great. Starting today, that means that I’m committing to:
- Consistently post at least 2-4 or times per week
- Selflessly promote other Yakezie Members and those completing the Yakezie Challenge
- Build relationships with other personal finance bloggers
- Stay committed to this for the next 6 months
- Lower my Alexa rank from 3,511,375 to under 200,000
Like I mentioned above, my ultimate goal over the next six months, as a member of the Yakezie Challenge, is to bring my Alexa ranking down from where it currently is, at 3,511,375 to under 200,000. That means I have a lot of work to do.

I need need need to do this. I know I say that everyday, but it's because I NEED TO BE PART OF THIS. I just run out of hours and forget. Blogging is stressful. Sigh.
